Klondike Derby: 2023-2024
Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Tah hosts the Klondike Derby every year, located in Burlington, Wisconsin. On Friday night, we drive up to camp, set-up tents and then head to the Dining Hall for Event Details and Shooting Sport Safety Presentation. Meals at the Dining Hall include; Cracker Barrel on Friday Night, Saturday Breakfast and Lunch. On Saturday, Scouts bring their sled to get checked-in and judged. From there the days activities and competition begins! Adults from Troop 149 run the knot station, sometimes in the Dining Hall, and sometimes on the course.

City Hike 2024
City Hike 2024
Recently Troop 149 took the train from Downers Grove to Union Station to enjoy ann afternoon in the Chicago Loop. The Troop hikes/walked over six miles through the city canyons! On the walk, Scouts learned that Chicago is the birthplace of the modern skyscraper and saw other new buildings that continue to evolve the city skyline. We brought our lunches/water and enjoyed taking a break in the historic Chicago Cultural Center (original public library on Michigan Ave)
Thank you Scouts and Scouters for helping to bring back the City Hike!!
